Tests are tests as the say, but I am sticking with Avira, it has proven to me in real time its worth over all the other crap you test. Just my 2 cents.

I like Realtime frequency, update every 15 minutes even better.
Thanks for pointing that out, LODBROK.

thats just like MSE, in reality a very good product but you would not know it from these tests. Probaly the best freebie out there. Go figure.

I don't know, 8 passes, 32 fails? Just about everyone here has seen my posts/stance regarding the tests that people here seem to always want to name-check, but even I think 8 passes and 32 fails is pretty rough. *Shrug* I don't know, I'm still using the fairly poor performing Avast along with the fantastic performing Malwarebytes Paid.

I would agree. They do good work and as much as we would all like to be on top, it isnt feasible with testing. Hopefully vendors learn from testing like this. I know I bust Svetas chops sometimes, but I do admire him and his testing. It is legit, it is legit. Did you hear me Avira.

LOL. Is Avira complaining? 2011 is still young. I wonder though how much Vipre benefits from the inclusion of CounterSpy's database and how much different MBAM is from CounterSpy?

Without a doubt Vipre benefits. Everything that is in CounterSpy's database is in Vipre Antivirus.

I'm just wondering , if you take "poor performimg" and add it to "fantastic performing" do you average out to mediocre performance overall.;) :D By the way my solution Avira has just managed to break even so no boasting here.

Lol, I guess we could call it mediocre if you like, sure :D I just think 2 out of three ain't bad, but 8 out of 32 is ridiculous.

The lifespan of an adult mayfly can vary from just 30 minutes to one day.

That's very comparable to the lifespan of trjam's signature.

So that I remain on topic, anybody know when the next MRG Flash Test results are to be posted? :)
