MR6 backup fails due to CRC errors, but DS succeeds!

    Nope I restore right to my system. I got over that fear long time ago. Especially with MR6. I use it as a snapshot program so I do a lot of restores.

    Brian reason for this is back when I was beta testing with Shadowprotect, I discovered that an image could verify perfectly, but not restore successfully. If I want to test an image and not take the time to restore, I just mount and image and play a video file. I found if an image failed restore, but verified okay, then the mount would fail.

    Pete, sounds fine. I wouldn't suggest my mates do it but they don't have your restore experience.

    Yep, that first time is a knuckle wringing experience. But once you've done it enough it's just another process you run.
