I am guessing that it could be a Release Candidate even though it doesn't say it. I found this on the FTP.
>> I found this on the FTP. RC1, one or more top come. maybe you might be switched to 58beta, as usual when you use betas. be carefull and prepped, could change your experience with firefox! ftp is dead since ages, is http://archive.mozilla.org - no fud please.
Actually RC4 became available yesterday and the v57 installers were placed in the "release" folder on the archive server today. My point is I believe they're still on schedule to officially release tomorrow.
I only need NoScript to be updated and I'll be ready for FF 57. I believe that is being worked on so should be ready, or near ready anyway.
Yes, you can see the dates in my link. My computers and Firefox rarely shut down, so I am not saying I am the fastest to notice a Firefox update.
I am using Personas Plus, and it lists my installed themes, favorites themes and featured themes. I remember adding the themes to my favorites years ago. But the question is, how do I view and edit my favorites on the Firefox Themes page? I used to be able to do it, but I can't see it. I'm signed in. I may be getting blind. Edit: I am going blind. To see your favorites, hover your mouse over your user name, then select My Favorites from the drop down list.
According to this link (not sure who maintains it), it says 'port unlikely' with no suggested replacement. Interestingly, I see that DownThemAll has a 'port in works'. I remember the original dev said he'd ditch it.
I'll have a look at that. I hate the fact that browsing and download history retention settings are tied together. I'd like to keep browsing history, but not download history as I have no need to re-visit my previous downloads. I'd like downloads to be removed as soon as they are completed. Edit: I had a look at Elite Download Manager, but couldn't see any benefit of to the built-in downloader.
You are 100% correct. I fully understood that when I was trying it that I wasn't being forced to use it.
