Firefox Portable 60.6.3 by PortableApps.com was silently re-released. Does anyone know why?

under about:config, set "browser.cache.disk.smart_size.enabled" to false, set "browser.cache.disk.capacity" to the desired value.

For FF67, make sure you go into Security settings -> Custom, and enable Coinminer and Fingerprinting new protections.

Thanks for the heads up about this; blocking cryptominers and fingerprinters is disabled by default.

Looks like Mozilla still has some work to do with the new FF67 fingerprinting protection. Tested on Panopticlick web site with the following result:

IMO this blocks only specific fingerprinting scripts. It has nothing to do with privacy.resistFingerprinting in about:config (which is part of the Tor browser patches).

Would it be advisable to install an extension for better fingerprinting blocking?

I use the Privacy Settings extension which basically does the about:config thing. Here's the info that it provides about Firefox's about:config fingerprinting protection (not the new feature built into Options). FYI, you only need to configure Privacy Settings, then you can disable the extension.

I also use CanvasBlocker too, which is possibly overkill.

    fingerprinting means canvas.

resistfingerprinting means reading out window size with javascript, firefox is set to version 55.0 which means wrong behavior on some websites. again the stupidity of the so called privacy extensions.
