Firefox 138.0.4 is very slow for me. Pages take forever to load.

Oh! How awful for you! Did you hurt yourself? I hope you're OK.

    Usually, JRViejo adds this link:
Choose which Firefox Browser to download in your language
    https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release

For Firefox Desktop Extended Support Release, that leads to:
    https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/desktop-esr/

There you can select the right platform, for instance Windows 64-bit.
Next you can select the right language.
Next you can select Download ESR 115.

With all our blessings, I pray you are okay. Eventually, this becomes the #1 life's fear for many of us.

Thank you both dear Stupendous Man and 1PW! I couldn't get up from the floor. Finally crawling over the floor to my bed. But couldn't get up into it. Waited there for some time on the floor. Finally was able to get into it. I remember me that Ron told me after the last time it happened that I should get an alarm system so people can come to help me.
It could have a much more worse result ... But my body feels ehh bad ...

That link which I gave, gave me the right version: Firefox Setup 115.23.1esr.exe

But now I'm not going to do much in the coming days .....

Oh, FanJ, how terrible. I can imagine you don't feel well at all. I suppose you will need some time to recover.

Regarding Firefox ESR 115.23.1, good that your link gave you the right version.

    Hello @FanJ

With a string tether, hang a cell phone around your neck. Several months ago, it happened to me and I used my cell phone to call 911. Glad I had the phone…

Please take good care of yourself.

I haven't noticed any difference here. A browser Add-on, maybe?

I hope you recover quickly and feel better soon! You should definitely consider one of those personal alert devices that you wear around the neck. Or, like 1PW said, always have your phone on hand, if falls are becoming more frequent. We don't want to lose you!

I persevered with Tab Groups for a while, but I kept getting prompted to add tabs to groups when I moved my tabs around. So, I disabled that feature.
I also think there might be a bug where tabs and/or pinned tabs change position without user intention.

After the update to Firefox version 138.0.3, I noticed the tab groups feature was active. I noticed when tab grouping was offered when I moved tabs. To me, this was annoying, and I don't need tab grouping, or at least not for now.
I would have thought such an option would have a setting in Firefox Settings, but it had not. I disabled the tab groups feature in about:config: browser.tabs.groups.enabled --> false.

The cause was the Emsisoft Browser Security add-on. I submitted a request to Emsisoft.

Ah, great that you found the culprit. You could keep it disabled until it's fixed and consider using Osprey Browser Protection. There's a thread about that here:

Edit: It looks like that Emsisoft Browser Security Add-on hasn't been updated for two years. I see other's posted about your issue in the reviews.

I who don't have Firefox Labs enabled had to edit in about:config to use a custom Wallpapers:

    Code:
    "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.newtabWallpapers.customWallpaper.enabled" set to true
    P.S.

Too bad Firefox is slower on the Speedometer 3.1 test on my PC than Edge, otherwise it would be my primary browser.

    Is this set to "custom"?

    Code:
    browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.newtabWallpapers.wallpaper
