Mount & explore image works but check tells me it is corrupted

    Whe I mount & explore an image it works without any problems. If I perform a check on the same image! the software tells me that the image is corrupted.

    This is about version 7.0 build 638.

    What shall I believe now? What is defective with the image? why can I mount, explore and even chkdsk a "defective" image?

    The image is a one time backup with incrementals.

    Any guess from the development team would be great....

    It gets even scarier.... The next check of EXACTLY THE SAME IMAGE told me that everything was O.K. and that the image was consistent....

    Where can I retun the software and get my money backo_O I do not want to rely with backups on such a high quality product.
