Motorola's mid-range lineup is all over the place right now. The company still has its popular G and E-series phones, but more recently, it has released a few Android One devices in some regions. A new leak indicates Motorola might be trying something new: a phone with a pen.

Evan Blass, better known as @evleaks on Twitter, published the below image of an unspecified Motorola phone with a stylus. The end of the pen looks like it slides into the phone, just like the Galaxy Note.
It would be interesting to see Motorola create its own stylus-equipped phone, and there could definitely be a large market for such a device.

Motorola Phone With Stylus Pen Leaked, Could Be Moto G Stylus

Motorola seems to have a new smartphone in the pipeline with a dedicated stylus pen. The new model has been leaked online and could be called the Moto G Stylus, if we believe a listing on the Canadian government site.

The stylus doesn't seem to have a pressure-sensitive tip -- the one that exists on the S Pen available with Samsung's Galaxy Note series. This hints that the new phone wouldn't be a top-end option in the line of Motorola smartphones this year.
Nevertheless, the leaked phone appears to be the first Android model by Motorola to carry a stylus pen.

It’s a solid midrange smartphone that will be an intriguing option for stylus-lovers, and it’s made even more appealing by things like a fun macro camera, a bloatware-free version of Android 10 and a 14+ hour battery life.

There are very few affordable options when it comes to stylus-equipped smartphones, so we're pleased to see that a successor to the Moto G Stylus (known as the Moto G Pro outside the US) is apparently on the way.

As spotted by Slashleaks, the Moto G Stylus (2021) made a very brief appearance on Amazon in the US before it got pulled again. The price was listed as $339.95 (about £255 / AU$455), but that might just be a placeholder – the 2020 version cost $299 / £289.99 (about AU$400).
We also learned that the phone will come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, like its predecessor.

As yet we don't know when to expect the Moto G Stylus (2021), but considering its predecessor launched in February 2020, it seems a safe bet that the 2021 edition is likely to launch around February time as well – as we'll let you know as soon as it does.
