More support for Spybot available

Information concerning Spybot:

Beginning today (Friday EST) a few new features and services are being added to the Net-Integration forums in an ongoing effort to improve Spybot Search & Destroy users experiences with this great application.

We are going to produce a newsletter for the express purpose of providing 'serious' bug reports, tips and tricks, update reports and other related spybot Search & Destroy matters. The newsletter will be advertising and affiliate free and strictly SpybotS&D related. There will be no charge. Subscription will be double opt-in for user protection. This is not going to replace the newsletter PepiMK currently has. That is the official announcement and update source. This is a newsletter more specific to support issues and fully sanctioned by PepiMK completely.

This newsletter will not be scheduled. It will be released for updates and serious discovered bugs. Tips will be included. The newsletter content will be determined by Team Spybot, and PepiMK where necessary, and based on their observations in the forums everyday. Frequency is therefore hard to determine. But we cannot imagine it being more than a few times a month based on history and the excellent programming.

We are also setting up a spybot directory that will have News, Announcements, FAQS, tips, etc which will be RSS fed directly to here from PepiMK siteThe pages will have links to specific sources or services that would assist spybot users such as SpywareInfo, Tom Coyotes spybot user guide, etc.

In addition, Team Spybot have space to upload pages, etc for providing additional information.

Again this is a sanctioned service and designed to greatly improve support. In fact each of the new things we add over the course of the next few days and weeks will vastly simplify things for users and take some of the pressure off PepiMK with email support. He has some new plans as well that will be shortly announced by him which will add to and enhance some of the other things we are doing. PepiMK can then respond to those emails he enjoys doing without having to sacrifice valuable programming or important personal time.

There are some other things coming which will be announced at a later time. Staff have also been provided additional tools and more are forthcoming to help them provide even more of the excellent service they do now. And without them adding to their 110% commitment they already have.



We hope these things are taken advantage of as we all here believe they will make a marked difference in user satisifaction and understanding of the awesome tool they have been gifted with.
