monitor going into standby after 10 min

    [SOLVED] monitor going into standby after 10 min

    I'm having problems with my monitor going into standby after 10 mins. I have adjusted powersave to work after 120mins of no activity and disabled the powerdevil daemon to no avail. I'm running out ideas and wanted to know if anyone has a fix?

    Update: Thanks katio I tried what was in the thread you linked and still didn't solve my issue. I gave in late last night and went to the slackware irc and it was fixed.
    So for anyone else that may have this problem here is what worked for me.
