    Where would you find all these old computers/hard drives though? It's not like people just leave them out on the street.

    Are you sure about that? i have seen 2 pc's just lieing outside someones house now :p

    I picked up a computer at a local pawn shop for under $30. On it I found their resumes. They were apparently a college student taking classes in computer science. [​IMG]
    I guess they were sleeping in the day wiping before discarding was discussed.

    I wonder if someone would pay me $30 for the hard drive with the info still on it?
    I could use the money to break even or invest in a clean drive. [​IMG]
