Mindvision Installer Vise encounters a problem and needs to shutdown.

I get this message when installing a program that has always installed with no hitches in the past.

I'm pretty sure the program is not corrupted as the decompression goes fine, and I had a backed up copy on CD that does the same exact thing.

Installer vise is an installer that apparently is used by a lot of software developers to customize an installation. The only thing I can think of is maybe there is a compatability issue with one of the more recent security updates for xp.

Anyway, I'm not expecting miracles, but if someone has happened to resolve this issued I'd sure like to know how!
