Migrate Easy PE 7

Decided to give this a bash as I'm planning on upgrading from PATA to SATA drives. Current setup is Maxtor 30G (C) on mobo primary IDE (master), WD 60G (D,E,F) on mobo primary IDE (slave) and Maxtor 72G (G) on SIIG dual port expansion card (master). On starting program, it hangs analysing the G drive and even the good old 3 fingered salute fails to recover system. Is this a compatibilty issue with the SIIG card which reports the G drive as SCSI for whatever reason (something to do with the fact it can support RAID)? I even tried True Image 8 which does the same thing!
