Hi i have made a full backup of drive c, i have saved it on another drive (d)

after trying to update my mail server, the install crashed and i have now tried to recover the c drive, my server is remote, and i have allowed acronis to reboot.

problem is i dont know if its asking me questions or not as i cant see the boot up screen.

have i messed up, will the c drive be replaced? ive waited about 45 mins so far and i still cant log in.

the drive image was roughly 6 gig, i hope to god i havent just wiped the server.

have i dont right, or should i contact the people who have my server and get them to fix it.

    cheers

I'll bet it's sitting at the Linux screen without remote access waiting for a choice to be made by someone on-site.

Give them a call and talk them through which choices to make to restore the image.

    Hello Tobes,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Enterprise Disk Backup Software.

Please clarify what actions you made when restore your image. Please note you can restore partitions (logical drives) from images onto remote PCs with Acronis True Image Management Console, and you can remotely restore any disk partition, except system partition.

    Thank you.
