Ouch! Well, at least it left the hard drive.
Yep....and Symantec reported that virus sightings were down by 95%
I wonder what bottle they have all been drinking out of
WOW. It sounds like MS finally has solved most of their problems that we all have been complaining about for years. Maybe doing things by "Accident" works better for them than "On Purpose".http://img79.exs.cx/img79/2876/blowiebyestunt9kt.gif

Sounds like M$ has finally perfected something!!
Wow... Microsoft really did the right thing this time! Getting rid of their own invention! Not bad i say!
Why would I do that? If there's one thing I like to get rid of the most its gonna be Internet Explorer only. I'm not getting rid of Windows XP.
OH MY!! I wonder how long Mr Weatherbee will have his J-O-B saying things like that!! LOL!! Didn't he clear that PR speech??!?!? ROFL!!!
"the source of ... spyware"? Oh my, someone is NOT going to be a happy camper!
Finally - an anti-spyware program that works!
Yeah, I think the program hit the right spot, all right!!
Recon you all missed the key factor:
"...a Microsoft representative, said the program was "only in BETA" and that "a fix was forthcoming."
If it's a BETA, why are they releasing it through Windows UPDATE? ? ? That's really bad, to have the public test more of their software riddled full of bugs.
So all you can do is hope one of your friends hasn't used this anti-spyware tool.
and hope you can use his/her machine to download an alternative browser.
Doesn't this tool make a restorepoint before it deletes any crap?
nah, stupid question, after all it's Mickey Soft
You wonder where they test their software.
Or do they secretly use Netscape at M$.....
Oh Yeah, that is true, BlackSpear, I guess it was just sooo funny we forgot that part!! I mean gee, we got to get our laughs on them sometime!!
Its all part of bill gates ideas...
They probably drank 10 gallons of tiger beer while they were watching the EPL football match on tv. One of their developers got so drunk he typed in Internet Explorer inot the anti-spyware database! LOL!!!
Not bad i say. M$ hit the nail on the head accurately.
finally, an AS product that works as advertised
I have to say I'm a bit perplexed about the fact that a BETA application of any sort was put into the auto-update.
Good point, Detox, that IS rude!! I think I am turning mine back off, they d'ld stuff that seems to mess me up everytime!
Good to see you again!!
Oh Boy ... I'm confused I thought when I originally read this thread it was a JOKE? (as it was posted in 10F & Due to the intergration of IE into Windows XP, I thought it was impossible to remove it.)
But with some of the posts here, some posters seem to think this is true. (or did I miss the humour?)
Could someone clear this up for me ~Please~ ... Cause I still think it's a JOKE.
Now, I'm confused!! Or reallllly sloooow!
"Could someone clear this up for me ~Please~ ... Cause I still think it's a JOKE."
This is a hoax that trys to get you to uninstall antispyware apps and turn off Windows updates. Flexbeta fell for this hoax too.
I'm goin' back to school!!
Phew ... I'm not Nuts ..."Good Old Sixth Sense" ... ~sniffing out the truth~
