microsoft updates

    i guys
    Iam having a problem installing a microsoft update...NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update (KB951847) x86 (update 1 of 1). it gets too 99%. it downloads that far then after a good 5 mins it comes up as failed.all other updates go on ok read somewhere about turning the antivirus off but that does not seem to work any help would be great.


    Iam running xp home with services pack 3

    Why don't you download the standalone separate installer instead?
