    - The updates for my Win 7 system were only "picked up" by the Windows Update mechanism today. One day late.

    This is probably breaking a rule but years ago Microsoft was offering a gift for those who downloaded a certain version of MSIE.
    Apparently, a lot of people were trying because when I connected the message told me that it would take 55 hours to download it.
    I started but gave up because my ISP would cut me off in a short time.
    Them was the days.
