Bolding or highlighting something that MS have made a one-time exception doesn't require any special merit at it's one-time past the EOL (End Of Life).

Per the cited announcement

This is one time for the Windows XP hold-outs and is being largely regarded as a Public Relations move from Microsoft.

Well, judging by the article from Arstechnica it seems that the "update die-hards" are the ones who complain about XP getting a patch
