More interested in innovation, but revenue does helps in that.

Well, I'm glad that Micro$oft are making a profit, I just hope they invest a decent proportion of it in research & development.

You haven't been following much of what Mr. Philanthropist Bill Gates has been doing recently have you? Let's just say more than Steve Jobs and his "workers" cares for.

I'm surprise they make any profit with the past 2 disasters of vista and seven, maybe windows 8 will be the lucky charm to put them back in the lead.

How is 7 a disaster in your misguided opinion? Statistics shows a success. Windows is only one product by Microsoft.

Some time ago you answered someone with an interesting link to a dedoimedo article containing arguments about why one should use Linux and how this act can help improve Windows indirectly. Well, the same logic can be applied to the Google x Bing, if one take Google as being "the Windows of the search engines" and Bing as being "the Linux of the search engines" (considering the market share aspect, of course). Quite ironic, isn't it? But the link you just posted serves well as one more prove that this reasoning is quite accurate.

Are you using Bing regularly? ;)

Before you call me a 'microsoft fanboy', I must tell that Google search can't be appropriately replaced here - just one example.
