Thanks for posting this. I've been wondering about a new version of MS Flight Simulator for a long time. Is that what this is?

The thing about FS is you could learn real flying skills with it - not the physical skills of course, but all the mental/logical/mathematical stuff.

tried it last night, was not too fond of the graphics, although the water effects look decent

    Flew this sim for awhile.

    The good

Simple mouse control for beginners. Advanced users can use full blown control with high end controllers.

Free flying for the big Island of Hawaii scenery set.

    The bad

Too expensive for some like me :( . The Hawaii Adventure pack offered is $20. For a few dollars more, one could buy the MS Flight Sim X.

Experienced server lag on long flights ending in a landing far from the takeoff point.

    My Thoughts

Buy the MS Flight Sim X Gold Edition from Amazon for about $28 if you are really interested in a flight sim.
