Problems getting build latest Edge build 55 for some https://www.elevenforum.com/t/latest-microsoft-edge-released-for-windows.202/page-65#post-309353 https://borncity.com/win/2023/06/21...d-web-view2-runtime-at-version-114-0-1823-55/
This so-called Build 55 of yours has never been officially released and is not available on any public Microsoft server, except that it was on the Microsoft Update server yesterday. Today it has also been removed from there. They must have gone terribly wrong or the devil knows what happened there. In general, Microsoft recently has a lot of such strange cases that will remain secret forever. And let it be said that I got it installed as soon as it appeared on the servers and after a while Microsoft replaced it on my pc again with version 114.0.1823.51. So something must be very wrong for them to did that.
@kaljukass I downloaded in through Edge on Tuesday morning. It is still there now. I have no idea what the heck is going on.
Perhaps you can then provide a link to a website where it is still available or teach you how to download it.
@kaljukass I did not download it from a website. I opened Edge. I pressed the 3 dots top right of page, and then scrolled down to Help and Feedback I then moved along to About Microsoft Edge and selected it. It auto updated from there. It is the way I have always done it.
Same here. I can't say that I have ever downloaded Edge from a web page. Maybe the early betas on a test PC.
