my programs incl Edge are using accent color if i want to use it. for the wallpaper option i cannot say anything. what i think is that windows uses the accentcolor automatically from that image or settings to image. did you try to disable the auto accent color option?

It would appear that this policy in version 128 is not active.
So I set it up, enabled.

I don't know if any forum members have verified that there are some websites that leave persistent cookies in Edge that are not deleted when the browser is closed/reopened.

One such website is Browserleaks.com (you have to do several tests).
Another website is the MS Store where you can find extensions for Edge.

My current list of blocked cookies is 6.

It bothers me very much NOT to have a list of 0 cookies present when I open the browser.

I was finding some leftover cookies, and sometimes only a few kb of data, i.e. no cookie. It seems to be fixed now with this release, or the last.

Try checking the websites I wrote above.
My guess is that this is not the case.
But it may be that in different configurations the browser has different behavior.

After my test, I see MS.com cookies and browserleaks data, no cookie.

the testing page left nothing behind, but edge itself for bing, several ms pages incl. copilot, msn, which are created on startup, no extension can block it at that time. i think that such cookies are feature related but i have no clue where to search or block. firefox is not that nosy although it has very similar features.

    @Brummelchen

Block these cookies in your browser:

    Code:
    ntp.msn.com

    c.msn.com

    assets.msn.com

    msn.com

    microsoftedge.microsoft.com
At the NextDNS level I also blocked:

    Code:
    *.copilot.microsoft.com

    *.bing.com

    *.bingapis.com
    P.S.

    I use Edge's built-in New Tab Page.
I can't block anything else otherwise it doesn't work.
