merging partions with vista

    i recently partioned my hard drive, but I decided i want the space back. So I'm trying to you "merge" option in manual mode. Everytime I try to use it, it freezes on me. I am working on a Windows Vista based computer.

    If someone could give me an answer to my problem i would greatly appreciate it.

    Are you trying to do the merge inside Windows or are you booting to the rescue cd?

    What version and build of DDS are you using?
    Build 2,160 is the latest.
