When using bootable media (CD) the merge/split features are not working properly. I am able to get through the merge/split wizard, but it does not add it to the queue of operations to be committed. When I use Disk Director from Windows the split/merge features work correctly.

I do not receive any errors messages. The wizard just seems to end without adding to the commit queue.

I have tested this using the bootable CD created by Disk Director, using both the full and safe mode versions. I have also tested it using a BartPE disk, which has the same problem.

The OS is Windows XP (running in VMWare). The partitions I try to merge/split are all NTFS and are on their own virtual drive.

I just purchased and downloaded the software, so I'm assuming I'm using the most recent version.

I will be testing this on a real computer shortly.

Tested this on an actual computer using burned copies of the ISOs I was using in the VM, and the problem is also happening there.

It would probably help to see a screenshot of the partition layout as it is before you begin the procedure.
