    I've been using the portable 64-bit build with everything at default (no additional add-ons or plug-ins) and had no problem playing files in any format, incl. .flv and old Real Media files.

    Thanks. MPC-BE, which just keeps getting better, is becoming my #1 player because it can handle some media that VLC can no longer play.
