MBAM as antivirus?

    Can Malwarebytes (paid version) serve as a suitable substitute for one of the standard AV programs, e.g., Avira, Avast, etc.? (I have HIPS in the form of Comodo D+ and also use Sandboxie and Defensewall on different computers)
