Please see Marcin's announcement:
That link doesn't work.
One must be a member to read it I guess.
Yeah, I got same message, and can't see anything posted on MBAM forums? Do you have to log-in to see?
Im a member and I cant read it.
Just made a scan (hyper)
Yes. Apparently you must be a member.
The link is good for members logged-in.
After installation, MBAM's version will be 22.214.171.124
A VIP member? 'cause I'm a regular member and couldn't see it.
Any idea of the mem usage? Last time I used RT it was running around 120-130K. Not that I'm worried about mem usage since I have 8gb Ram but I still like to keep things light.
So would you break a policy if you post a quote from it for us to see ?
The link is correct as posted. MBAM staff will be around to answer your queries as time permits.
*One must have a valid account to login to view.*
Please understand, I lack direct permission to quote so I've excluded the license ID/Key and download link for now.
I really hope no one will complain about this as it was only a matter of time when they would need to do it, not if.
More vendors should think like the MBAM Team. But then of course not many companies think like the people at Malwarebytes do
And thanks for the quote 1PW hopefully it can stay public
Indeed, better yearly licenses than ads and toolbars
Though, nothing on what's new in v2?
To see the info you need to be an Honorary Member or above.
I'm a forum member but couldn't get in at this time. Glad they are keeping us "lifer" members.
This is a post that is visible to Honorary Members and higher on our site (50+ post count). It wasn't supposed to leak like this ... welcome to the Internet I suppose.
Sorry it was me who asked
Only the message has been leaked not the build though
Message is totally fine. If somebody posts some screenshots, I may even look the other way!
Actually Honorary Members are set at 100 posts not 50
We wanted those that support us to be able to get a Preview of the program before the actual public beta due out a little later on.
Well Marcin my bad also and very sorry
it was posted in open beta section damn
Pheww good to know then I don't need to feel guilty for asking
Since I can't, can somebody test if the ChicaPC giveaway licenses work? If not, will ChicaPC-Shield 2 work and how long will version 1.75 be supported?
The ChicaPC license will not work.
Whether or not Chica continues to partner and license the 2.x version for their users is up to them, only they can speak to that question.
We have a 1 year support policy. So once the 2 version is released we will still support the 1.75 for up to 1 year from when 1.75 was released.
OK, thanks for clarifying. Guess I'll wait and see.
Don't think it is set at 100
