Hi everyone, I've been away for a very long time,(and running mainly on Linux). Now, I got a computer running on Windows 10, standard version, and I would like to apply SRP on it. Could somebody having SRP applied the same way listed there (Maximising Windows 7 security with SRP under LUA - https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=262686) indicate the set up and parameters for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Safer\CodeIdentifiers\262144\Paths? Even better somebody could export the regedit text? Kind Regards, Lucy
Welcome back, you were missed! I'm not sure what you are seeking can be achieved to that in-depth level with Hard_Configurator latest Beta: https://github.com/AndyFul/Hard_Configurator, but it is otherwise an excellent utility for easily setting up strong SRP protection for the the Home user, with no impact on system resources. You might want to reach out to its developer, AndyFul. His technical abilities and willingness to help others are "Top Shelf". Hi everybody, Hi wat! Nice to talk to you! I want to apply a disallowed-by-default Software Restriction Policy from http://www.mechbgon.com/srp/. How to do it with h_c? Regards, Lucy
OK, problem solved. I added program files (x86) to the unrestricted paths. Thank you again for the link to h_c. I'm learning / refreshing my memory a lot from the website. Regards, Damien
