    mack_guy, are you also thinking about what 12.04 distro(s) to install ?
    I am thinking definitely Kde, especially now that Blue Systems will support/sponsor Kubuntu and Netrunner (from12.10 on) - it's peace of mind going forward. Xfce (probably Xubuntu for our laptops). Still sticking with SL6x.

    well mint 13 sure 100% as i am cinnamon fan ;) + SL6

    i didnt decide yet which kde version i go for so i wait and see all lot of temptation in kde land

    opensuse, chakra, kubuntu/kubuntu base and most tempting is rosa lab if its little stable then i go for it as i always wanted to try mandriva base distro

    maybe this one for a change ;)

    yes forget xfce will be one of my distro i formate one xfce maybe and install 2 kde
