manual update

hello with Manual updateing? when i download it run it it says C:\Program Files\ewido anti-spyware 4.0\ then installs the signatures ? how do i know its done this sucesfully huerstic dat completed or something on the main interface says signatures in database or is there any other way thanks it duz apply them but to double check !!

Not sure this will help but I would think if it did not work you would get a message, then you can always go to:

http://www.ewido.net/en/

and in the upper right hand corner is the last date & time of updates with the correct signature count. If this matchs you are OK to go.
