Manual update never seems to work

Hi,

The manual update always seems to indicate WSA is at the latest version, while it is not. I've been noticing this lately.

Why is this?

 

Updates are revealed to the client program slowly over the course of (I think it was) 36 hours. Check for Updates will not help if the system is not yet ready to tell your client that the update is there for it.

The only way to force a manual update when the back end system isn't ready for it yet is to download the installer from the original location you got, then run the updated installer over the older version that's installed.
