Replying a little late here on topic, thanks, problem solved!

    Excellent service!

    Thanks!

Does anyone know all the folders that Mamutu uses to update and run?

I'm using Shadow Defender and need to create these exceptions. I found only two places (Program Files, and another in the Temp folder for my user). Is there any more?

Another question is why it takes so long to start Mamutu? Here after I enter my user, it takes longer than 40 seconds to appear in the tray!

    Is this normal?

I thank those who help! :thumb:

I have Mamutu on weak lap (whit OA Free and Avast Free) and I don't see that the boot time is noticeably longer...maybe conflict whit other security apps?

With me it's 3 minutes :S During that time the processes are running, but protection is not working and it can also easily be killed via taskmanager. Once it does appear in the tray everything works normal. I noticed the same on a clean install of windows 7 x64 without any other software installed. I opened a support ticket about this and am currently waiting for them to reply to my latest answer.

I'm using the applications of my signature, and he always takes to boot, the system starts normal, but after I enter my user it takes a long time, do not know exactly.

Just as it takes to appear in the tray I get no protection, I hope they fix this in next version.

    Sorry for my english!

I received a reply two days ago thanking me for report and logfile, so I hope they find the source of the problem in a few days. I'll let you know what I find out.

The fact is that this is not an isolated problem, and really in urgent need of a fix. A few months ago I tested on my computer and same problem occurs!

Thank you for trying to solve the problem, and keep me informed! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Actually i had the same problem before but i stopped using Mamutu since i have a license for EAM itself (No reason at all to use Mamutu).
And i can guarantee you that if you do submit your report files (Logs, dumps etc.) They will fix it ;) :D :thumb:

Asked whether they found the source of the problem and got reply back from support that they would ask the devs again.

An update: I sent customer support a message last week if there was any news and they replied the dev would look at it in the weekend, he did this time and came with a possible solution, but it doesn't seem to work so far, so I replied back. Hopefully it will not take so long this time.

They requested another log, which I sent on the 1st of August, but still no reply. Bad customer support..

Well, in those two months I asked twice if there was any news on the issue so I doubt it.

I have never given Mamutu a glance until now. Probably because I see it lately in post signatures. So bring me up to speed......

How does Mamutu rate and what is it competitors?
