anyone here using Mamutu alongside avasts behaviour shield? any compatibility problems with the 2?
I tested Mamutu against 16S simple keylogger and it failed, i always though Mamutu was weak and it seems so.
I also used Zemana test, spyshelter test and it failed everything.
Then i was like hmmm, this is weird, i installed CIS and tried and it reported "Keylogging Activities" and blocked, same with Online Armor Premium.
So IMO, Mamutu needs more rules.
I'm not saying it's lame, just needs to be improved further with more complex rules.
Now, please people, don't judge Mamutu so fast without trying it
It is a good behavior blocker, just needs improvement IMO.
ugh.... ok.... but back to my original question, have u tried Mamutu running alongside avasts BS?
avast!'s Behavioral Shield is nowhere near of Mamutu (or any behavior blocker, or any behavior-based host-based intrusion prevention system) so it won't give any compatibility issues.
ye i figured that much but i was more curious if anyone experienced problems in practice (someone on avast forum mention some people on another forum he used have had problems, but idk to what extent that is)
There was an earlier discussion about Mamutu vs some keylogging tests. The reaction of the developers were that the behaviour was not suspicious/malicious enough, but if they also made an internet connection(For example to sumbit the logged keys) then Mamutu would throw an alert.
I use them both, No problems.
Still i consider they should develop it more.
thank you for the feedback.
No compatibility issues with Mamutu and Avast free edition on XP SP3.
