Are the MBAM-Rules "Manual Database Installer" given in the following link both "Official" and frequently updated?

I would like to have the ability to install, update, scan and clean with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware on an infected PC which may have no internet access.

    Thanks in Advance.

For what I can remember, the provided manual update wasn't as updated as the update provided via UI.

Maybe someone else can shed a few more lights.

Its an INNO-Setup with the rules.def in it (set to 5363=rather old)
The installer copies the DEF into MBAM working folder (user account)
and set the number into registry. nothing special...
the DB-number itself is not really important, mbam works also without
and the copy routine can be done manually if some know where to grab
    and where to copy.

my self wont use it - i dont trust it.

PS MBAM tells me DB-version is here now 5547
