    Huh? Isn’t v4.4.5.152 older than 4.4.11.149?

    Hello @XIII

I too was mystified by the numbering. The advanced stub installer upgrades didn't make things any easier. I'll pass a PM to Erix and ask if he wishes to alter anything between this past Monday's beta announcement and its possible full release tomorrow morning.

    Thank you always.

    Edit: PM has been sent.

I have the latest version. When they released a new stable version of this software I tried to download it via software but it just installed definition updates. I had to download installer from the website to get the new version.

I have MWB Premium set to on demand and I always have to give it two shots to update.
First update just does definitions. If I then run a scan and update again, I get the program update.
    Try that?

    Hello @I3rYcE

Occasionally it needs to be mentioned that the Malwarebytes for Windows (MB4) Premium edition application updates are always commenced with download throttling. Regardless of where your system globally appears to be on the Internet, Malwarebytes' global edge servers, for its content delivery network (CDN), will begin any new release download in a throttled mode due to the many millions of MB4 subscribers. This throttling will be systematically tapered down & off as the needs of the users are met.

However, as is popularly known, MB4 users may elect to avoid the above possible application download delays by forcing the application update by use of several methods. The foremost of which is manually selecting "Check for updates" within the MB4 application. You may also elect to use the recently updated "~2 MB Stub Installer" or the ~200 MB "mb4_offline" installer. Both of which download from the same Malwarebytes CDN edge servers. The previous methods will always render the safest, highest integrity, digitally signed installer.

If little or no MB4 related emergency exists, I personally recommend you wait patiently for the throttled application update. If a case exists where your client edition has failed either its automatic update or the manual "Check for updates", I strongly recommend you seek individualized Malwarebytes professional free assistance from the Malwarebytes Forum or Support.

    Thank you.
