I have PCAV, HPA and MBAE (stable Premium). All sw latest version. Win 8x64
When I start chrome with MBAE activated it doesn't work, it's like I wouldn't have internet connection. If I start Chrome with MBAE deactivated it works.

Does it make sense to shield other security apps? like av's?

Does it still happen without HPA?

No, I have uninstalled HPA, now it works. I know these are incompatible but the latest beta worked well with HPA, I installed the new stable version and the issue appeared.

Does it make sense to shield other security apps? like av's?

Do you plan to include an auto-update feature?

2 2 true! I use the paid version -- because I use several "off-brand" browsers plus several other internet-facing apps.

I'm using MBAE free with HitmanPro.alert right now on Canary Chrome 64 bit (both inject their dll into Canary according to processexplorer) and there is no delay or issues.

If I disable one or the other Chrome 32 works without issue.

I thought the HPA rep pointed to the issue in MBAE here?

AFAIK we never had an issue with performance except for a handful of conflicts with other security software (EMET, HPA, etc.). Would like to see more measurements across different boxes and configurations. But even if accurate a +0.28 seconds delay to open IE is more than acceptable in exchange for the protection we're getting, and I doubt its noticeable to the naked eye.

Ah, thanks and sorry, missed that.

  12. True, just noticed the difference on a Windows 7 (32 bits) + Browser setup only between Chrome and IE11. In regard to Chrome delay was do little (0,02) that I checked whether dll was injected. With Chrome the delay of MBAE is less than EMET, which is a not a little feat but a great accomplishment IMO

I noticed from my firewall that MBAE Premium is attempting to "call out." What's that for?

OK thanks for the info. :)

I do wonder though, is it possible to give some more technical info about MBAE´s mitigations?

For example like this: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/jj653751 (EMET)

Do you have a test that, I can run to see if Malwarebtyes Anti-Exploit (Home) is working? That is for Malwarebtyes Anti-Exploit (Home)?

Seems to be no conflict (free) EMET 5 TP protecting outlook and media player, with MBAE Free protecting Chrome :thumb:
