Malware sample sent. No reply, it's been nearly a week.

Went to help a family friend who got infected by some malware.
In his download folder I found a file that looked suspect and uploaded it to Jotti's Malware Scan.

I found that NOD32 didn't stop the infection and used another product to remove the malware.

Today, I decided to see if NOD32 had detection for the sample I sent in nearly a week ago to sample@eset.com.

Guess what.

Still no detection. This makes me feel disappointed.

i think eset has other job to do as well as firewall, antispam, that's why maybe they are so slow now ?
