LOL jmonge, at least show some respect and get his name right............................. just razzing you, jmonge :D :p

Seriously, it's a great program, should go down as one of the best 3rd party pc security products of all time, especially if xiaolin maintains it :thumb:

Greatly disappointed that the default permissions is only to "change all". It was much better the older way.

    :(

ughho_O? Explain? I see nothing that has changed. Have you not noticed that if you click on the permission then a drop down box is shown? You can still change individual permissions, just like in previous versions. The only difference is that the drop-down box doesn't show until you click on the permission.

Finally found time to play with this new version. The return of the old GUI is nice! :thumb: The new application rules GUI is interesting. Nice to have the rules on a single page vs. individual tabs for easy viewing. If Xiaolin is seeking suggestions, I think making the rule groups collapsible in the new GUI would be nice. Some apps, like explorer.exe or surun.exe have many child applications and it would be nice to be able to collapse this list with a single click in order to review the other rule groups quickly.

When visiting this url 3 days ago, PrevX SafeOnline immediately popped up with a warning about a 'domain blacklist warning' e.g. according to PrevX, this domain serves up malware.

Is this url known here among Wilders readers for bad stuff? Anyone ever had issues downloading Malware Defender (from there)?
I've contacted PrevX about this days ago but haven't got any reply...

Malware Defender can also be downloaded from Softpedia but it says Malware Defender 2.7.2 Beta / 2.7.1. What does that mean? o_O It cannot be both.

There is nothing wrong with this website. I have downloaded from it several times. Prevx always gives me the same warning but it is BS. Proof of the pudding- I have Web Guard, MBAM, & HIPS on duty -- no bads. The downloads check out fine & have the same MD5 as downloads from other sites.

Moreover, Xiaolin works for that outfit & I sincerely doubt that Xiaolin would associate himself with anything offbeat.
