Yes or devote himself to his calling as a Comodo moderator.
relevance of this video: 0, trash....
Yes stopped watching this when i saw him blocking executable creation by IE !!!! Please learn to use a HIPS
why don't leave a message to the video author or try to make you a test
or give the right configuration
But it still depends on the rules you have defined Different for different users
IMHO a lot of his videos are trash. He doesn't research the products before he reviews and that annoys the hell out of me. In a couple of his videos he admits to this.
Unless they are Comodo reviews then he understands how to use it.
i can't understand , really
you like all the his video about av and other security
you don't like this video because malware failed,it can happen
there is not perfect software, above all security software
I don't use MD. Though I have been contemplating on whether or not to implement it in my new machine. So you can consider me as potential user seeing this review.
Also yes products do fail.
I'm just stating from my observation of watching his videos in the past that he does not research the products that he reviews. Other reviewers read up on the product, present the features and start the test. A majority of the time he does not!
Yes i do understand there is no perfect security app otherwise everybody would use it and this forum would be empty!
Anyways this is going OT.
this is the truth if you dont properly configure not only md but any hips it will fail if click yes when not suppose to
i noticed with the last official release a slow boot and may freezes
sometime i have to reset hardware my pc
do you have the same issues?
No issues with 2.6 or now 2.7.1 beta on my machine. No freeze-ups or hardware problems.
do you run under w7?
XP SP3 Pro
i got a slow down at the boot and some freezes
maybe it's not compatible with nod32 and outpost
you should not run malware defender together w/ outpost (both are HIPS/firewall)
No it was not compatible with Outpost on my machine. Dumped Outpost and am using DefenseWall 3.01
in learn mode no problem
but in the normal mode , i run firefox and another program
the pc freezes i have to hardware reset
Like the man said, if you run two HIPS together you've a good chance you'll see problems.
i uninstalled outpost
but it freezes often
It would be advisable to post your full setup (including O/S details) then to see if anybody has any suggestions as to what the conflict may be.
I'm still waiting for next release
Do you have mdhook.dll disabled? If not you may want to try disabling it (you can check in tools>options>protection).
It will still take time
Mantra do you use v.2.6 ?
From experience and previous discussions here, the only versions that freeze PC after leaving learning mode are the patched ones, i.e. use a crack meant for previous versions to patch the current executable.
i'm using 2.6 trial version
i guess it's some files that left outpost
because under w7 no freezes
