As i'm new to this sofware, may i ask some tips and tweaks for this sofware?(i let it in learning mode for now,as my system is 100% clean)
    Thanks.

Well we have had Comodo, Online Armor, PCTFW Plus.

Online Armor: Does not like my System

Comodo: I don't want to use them

PCTFW Plus: Not truly a full HIPS.

So yeah A good free HIPS from someone I trust, and hopefully want cause issues on my system.

Damn,a little painful uninstall....MD wouldn't uninstall at all...tried with its own uninstaller, nothing, not enough privileges. As admin, nothing.Add and remove programs, the same thing.OOOOOOkkkkkk....let's play serious.JvPower Tools uninstaller, which removed more than 50 registry keys, and after,Revo Pro in action with forced uninstall. Some leftovers in C/Programs files, which were deleted after another forced uninstall after reboot.Pheeew.....:D
Anyhow,a RollBack snapshot was ready to take everything under control.

Outpost-free includes host protection (HIPS), plus a two way firewall with automatic rules creation (Learning Mode), & self protection.

OP-free includes an adequate Help file PLUS there is a superb FAQ about OP-free at THIS thread in OP's support forum.

Probably not a good idea to run MD with PCTFW, given the HIPS-lite component within PCT. Use one or the other, but not both.

Sure, and there's probably several other HIPS that run fine with MD as well. And some that don't. However, in principle it is not advisable, in the same way it's not advisable to run two realtime AVs.

Because you never know if it really is truly working. It appears not to be causing any problems, but you'll never actually know. Long experience may show whether both HIPS are showing all the right prompts but you just don't know when you hit 'that critical moment' that there won't be a conflict. It's always an unnecessary gamble. But it's your choice.

Hmmm, tried 2.7.1, worked fine for a while, but then I got a hard system freeze and could only turn off the box via power button. :( Will try next version.

I wouldn't consider D+ as a good alternative too MD because MD has more features like more configurable file and folder rules and policing the loading off DLL's

In my opinion Outpost HIPS is very weak, I have testing poc's which can easily terminate and shut Outpost.

Agreed you just don't need 2 HIPS anyway.

well I didn't have any internet connection issues when I tried 2.7 probably something to do with your configurations

It seems that I was lucky (or fast enough) to download the beta from Icr's link before it was jacked. Anyway I have double-checked my system with Hitman and MBAM to make sure all is clean.
Reading about the beta I think I will stay with 2.6.0 and start tinkering with it. I only hope that the final shows before it runs out :) .
