mal/packer virus ?

hi,
my system slow down every 20 - 30 min after booting .. i found a problem in temp file named C:\LOGFILE.ETL . file size increasing in every second . after 20-30 min harddisk full notification come from tray . unable to delete

some questions:

1.- did you changed anything in the last days? (new software installs, messing with the registry, etc)
2.- has anyone outside of you used your computer?
3.- have you performed some malware scans?

 

Likley to be some sort of trace logs for a program - try to open it with notepad (may take ages to do though) and see what program is making the logs.
If you don't stop the logging, it will flood your PC with the logs and keep occupying more space on your HD.

Try to stop individual running non-essential programs... does stopping any in particular stop the filesize from increasing?
