Here's a short yet dope article showing how to visually customize the Xfce and MATE desktops in CentOS 7.2 to an extreme aesthetics level using the Numix theme and icons. Enjoy. http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/centos-7-xfce-mate-numix-theme-icons.html Cheers, Mrk
Thanks, nice indeed! Last I tried Numix, the highlight color was red, not blue. It's a customized Numix I guess?
Moka icon theme is also fantastic! Both Numix circle and Moka are becoming my favorite non-KDE desktop environment icon sets. Beside them, Faenza looks downright ugly.
Faenza is still the most elegant and intuitive set of icons, but there are some, so called flat, very pleasant visually like Flat Remix or Papirus. There are blue variants, this one works with 16.04.
Im a big fan of the Paper icons by snwh.org. Clean looking and the most complete I have tried regardless of the distro. Of the top of my head, I believe they are the authors of Moka icon set. regards.
Esthetic: only when you are still singing ABBA songs. wearing Depeche Mode jackets with a Duran Duran hairdo. It is time warp back to 80-ties with icons so flashy they hurt my eyes That said I enjoy reading the way you tweak distro's to create something special (even when it is not my cup of thee)
