Macruim strange transfer rate

    I'm trying Macrium reflect free, and it looks to be a great program.
    I'm not sure however if they display correct transfer rate. For me it's about 500 Mb/s, while the peak speed of my HDDs is no more than 90 Mb/sec. And the time it takes to do the backup indicates the real transfer rate of 62 Mb/sec.

    Is it a bug?

    I'm starting to realize that perhaps they use Megabit per second instead of Megabyte?? That would explain this strange number.
    Although normally for disk transfers everyone uses Megabytes...

    Yes, they do use megabits rather than megabytes; requests have been made to change it.
    Your 500 megabits (Mb/s) equals 62 megabytes (MB/s), give or take.
