    LOL!! too funny !! :D :D :D

Save as fla/giff/swf mate, You can always import them into a new document if needed.....

Add a new layer by clicking on the new layer icon.....

This will put a background into the flick ! Again you will need to draw the background, group it and pop it in the library ;)

When adding a layer it's a good idea to name it. Do this by double clicking on the layer name....

I imported MR DUCK from Animation Factory after transparifying the background in GiffWorks which we've already been through....

Now....with some playing around using the tween method, we can make MR DUCKY appear to be moving... ;)

Here's how to do a fade............

First put an image on the screen. I have selected the Follywood Motto :D I'm sure Marja will enjoy the promotion :D

Then add another layer. Name them like I have done.

Now, using the square tool add a coloured square that covers the stage area.

Group it, F8, name it and pop it in the library.

Next, while frame 1 is selected use the arrow pointer and click once on the coloured box on the stage.

Now at the bottom you will see a tab called clour. From the drop down menu select alpha and move the slider to 0 %

You can vary the colours to suit what you need it for. Also by extending the tween and reversing the alph levels you can make it fade out :)

Hey BBuck I had trouble with this too when I started so don't freak out too much. I'm actually throwing you in the deep end here :D :D :D

I will go step by step again to keep you on track. So forget about the last one & try this ;)

Draw a coloured box. Then group it. Then press F8/name it and make sure you save the symbol as a graphic.

    Place the box on stage.

Right click on frame 1 and CREATE MOTION TWEEN.

Right click on frame 15 and INSERT KEY FRAME.

Left click on frame 1. This is the start of the tween. That's all this fade is - a tweened animation ;)

Now with your pointer left click on the box to select it.

Now at the bootom of your screen you should see a colour menu. Scroll this menu to find ALPHA and select it.

    Make sure it's at 100 % ( it should be )

Now left click on frame 15 ( end of tween )

Then left click on the box again to select it.

Now from the colour menu again select ALPHA and make it 0 %.

Now play it, The box should now fade out.

So what weve made is a layer fade. You can sit another layer, like a picture, underneath it to make it apper to fade in or out.

Like I said, it's just a tween, like the ball roll thing we did first up ;)

It seems very complicated but with some practice I know you'll get it.

    Hey Cartoonboy! :)

Just a question, when I right click on frame 2 on the timeline,
a context menu pops up...Is there anything I am suppose to select
in that window? And how do I get it to move? Do I have to create
a new frame for each movement....I am stuck with that zombie,
    hellllllllllllllllllllllllp! :D

I'm here !! right click on frame 2. Then select the arm only. Then go to the tools and select the free transform tool. When you go back to your arm move the pointer near the corner and you'll get a circular arrow appear, then you can rotate the arm. ( hopefully )

Now while in frame 2, move any other part you'd like to move. Then go to frame 3, etc etc........

Check the next screen shot for more help ;)

Just incase you didn't understand, this is what I meant. After selecting the free transform tool, select the arm & move the pointer to the corner of the arm..........

    Glad you're back !! :D

    Thanx CB, :)

.... it is just that when I was right-clicking on frame 2
I was getting a context menu opening ... you did not seem
to get it, right? Never mind, I will try again tonight and maybe
I will make it all right. Thanx for your time! ;)
