I have disabled Macromedia Flash in Spyware Braster, but it has not disappeared. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

    Hello BobP,

What do you mean when you say that it 'has not disappeared'? Internet Explorer runs (displays) Flash items via a specific ActiveX control. That control is what is set by checking the option in SpywareBlaster ? Tools > Flash Killer > "Disable and block Macromedia Flash (4.x, 5.x 6.x)."

Once you've set that, new Flash items that you hit with your browser should look more like broken images, and should not play whatever show they normally would.

If you could explain a little more about the specifics that you're seeing, we may be able to better advise you.
