MAB and Evidence Eliminator

Hi.

I received the most recent edition of Evidence Eliminator, on CD, as a gift .

From what I've read, and even though I know there's a controversy about it, it's my impression that EE is NOT malware. Yet the first time I did a scan with MAB it flagged EE as malware, so I added it to the "Ignore List."

Still, occasionally, MAB flags EE as malware. My question is this: can anyone say if there is software that "impersonates" Evidence Eliminator?

No, there is no EE impersonators around. It's all their own doing.

VIPRE is blocking their website as well.

 

Every thread about Evidence Eliminator we had here at Wilders was eventually closed my mods. Talking about EE here is considered heresy.

So, use it if you like (I do), but don't ask about it.

 

It seems about every topic on everything is eventually closed by the moderators nowadays.

Yes, I know of the controversy regarding Evidence Eliminator. I'm not sure if I'll continue to use it or not, I'll have to see. If I do remove it I'll probably replace it with R-Wipe&Clean.
