if you have a desktop best thing is put both linux and windows on different hardisk but any how if you have one hardisk then please check the way you have install it if you install the grub(linux boot loader) then you have to put the path of xp in its grub there are many tutorials on net regarding grub 2 editing please check them i put few of them http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1195275 http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/grub-2.html also Lubuntu Dual Booters - No Windows Menu Lubuntu apparently doesn't ship with the package os-prober so Windows will not be added to the Grub 2 menu. To add Windows, install os-prober, update grub and then check to see if Windows is now in the menu: Code: sudo apt-get install os-prober sudo update-grub grep menuentry /boot/grub/grub.cfg source: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1195275 hope it help you )
