Lots of problems

    Hi, since the official Acronis support needs weeks to replay my tickets, I'll try here to find some hints:

    1. True Image Echo Server (Build 8.163) on Windows 2003 SBS. Up to date hardware - Intel Matrix Raid 1, backupmedia are USB drives (WD-Passport):
      A backup task runs perfect, but in the moment the (in task defined) auto-validation of the backup starts the whole server freezes. Only hard reset helps. Thats horror and I already sent logs and more information to Acrnois-Support, but no further answer yet... (Ticket #1763303)
    2. True Image Echo Server for Small Business Server with UR on another System: Backup does not start when volume-shadow-copy option is active. (vss) . The whole acronis process freezes and a server restart needs 40 minutes after trying this. Using default options the backup works. But some issues: The emergency-boot system does not find a licence server (ok, thats the consequence if the licence server is normally running on the system I want to restore...). But how can I get the backup back on the server if the backup of the same server does not find itself to see the licence?!?
    3. Next issue on 3 different systems (2 are TIES build 8,163, and the other one is the SBS Edition): After browsing a backup.tib file and closing the explorer window, leaving the backup files alone and not accessing them any more it is not possible to safe eject the backup usb drive! its locked by a acronis process. How can I set the drive free to eject (unmount) after restoring some files?

    There are more problems, but first I would be more then glad to find some solutions to the above described issues.

    Sorry, but I get disappointed more and more with Acronis Software:

    I sell Acronis-Software to all of my customers. Only on the basis of my last (s.a.) support questions Acronis made more than 1000$ license fee. Isn't that worth a little support?! The worst thing is that I now have a customer-server - productive system - without any backup since more then a week - if I start a backup the whole machine freezes while TI is running, hard reset is necessary and productive data is destroyed and I get zero support. No answers here, no ticket answers. TI Echo Server maybe a real good idea, and on the machines it works well its a perfect backup solution. But the price is high and for that price I want problems supported in reasonable time. Sorry, after this experiences I will reconsider about the software I sell with all the other systems I equip.
