Looks like a MAJOR PROBLEM...SOS!!

    Put the file to the avast Virus Chest (as soon as its detected) and send it to us...

    Well Avast says that it is unable to process the file containing the virus. So I cant move it to the chest or delete it or repair it.
    Avast is pretty helpless!

    You did scan in safe mode, correct?

    Nope...Windows was running normally Avast rang an alarm bell.

    Abhishek,

    What is the status currently? Provide as complete a description as possible so we don't mistakenly assume things incorrectly. I assume you've walked through the GENERAL Virus and Trojan removal Instructions already, cleaned out all temp file locations, flushed the prefetch folder, and removed files in the downloaded program files folder that are not clearly identified, and checked for entries in startup services and applications that are unknown. Correct?

    Well Blue, I did what was mentioned in the thread you had sent, and lo! the problem has been resolved.
