Looking 4 ways to automate Windows

    I'm looking for ways to automatically dialup an internet connection, record my favorite radio shows and then automatically disconnect from the net and shut down my computer.

    I already have a variety of recording software, I just need to learn how to automate things, so I don't have to do everything manually.

    Anyone know of any ways to do this? or know any good low cost programs that could allow me to do this? Thanks for any assistance.
