I recently upgraded to the full version of ProcessGuard 3.20

Since then I have expecienced long long delays in the load time. At reboot or restart the system loads all the appropriate applications including ProcessGuard but PG takes up to four-five minutes of "receiving settings" and sucks up nearly 100% of the CPU for that entire time. I've tried different settings with no difference.

1.) What "settings" am I receiving?
2.) Is there a fix for this?

Thanks for any help on this one.

i would try uninstalling build 3.2 and using build 3.15 instead, which can be downloaded from the dcs website..

there might be some problem apart from PG 3.2 that is slowing your computer's booting up, so i would see how things are after you have uninstalled PG 3.2..

i am using build 3.15 and it does not slow my computer's booting up, at least, not in any way that i notice..

if you are using norton antivirus, i think that that can slow a computer's booting up, at least in some circumstances..

If you "upgraded" keeping protection settings, uninstall and remove them, and try again.

Also ensure you used Learning Mode and setup your PC completely, and an XP trick I do is delete all files in the PREFETCH folder and reboot a couple of times in a row. This re-learns all startup programs (Windows optimisations are stored in the prefetch folder as filename.exe.PF)
